Fatigue not a factor in Warriors’ 11th straight

Neither the schedule nor fatigue has been able to defeat Carpinteria’s girls tennis team, as the Warriors won their 11th match in a row to start the season while winning their fourth match in four days.

Carpinteria topped Capistrano Valley 16-2 in this one.

The Warriors will try to keep both streaks alive in a Saturday match with San Luis Obispo.

Erin Saito and Lesly Saito did their usual damage with three set wins at love.

Two doubles teams were 2-0 before giving way to subs. Cat Maldonado and Gabi Montes De Oca did it, as did Merissa Souza and Emily Saito.

In singles, Kelsie Bryant was 2-0.
