Santa Barbara was nearly perfect from the service line in a three-set sweep of Oxnard on Thursday night.
The Dons (3-2) made only one error during their 25-13, 25-20, 25-21 victory.
“We served the best match I’ve ever seen,” coach John Gannon said. “We only had one serving error the whole match and made 98 percent of our serves.”
Frankie Lewis and Sydney Riegert paced the attack with 11 and 10 kills, respectively.
Gannon also praised the setting of Sarah Scarminach. “She did a real good job setting the ball tonight,” he said.
