Dos Pueblos’ football team has climbed to a season-high ranking in the Southern Section’s Western Division.
The Chargers (4-1) are ranked No. 9 in the polls released on Monday. DP’s onlyt loss of the season was a 31-14 setback to the Division’s No. 1 team in Lompoc.
The Chargers were unranked last week but moved up to No. 9 after a 42-28 win over Rio Mesa.
Santa Barbara High (4-1) stands just outside the division’s top-10, having received votes in the poll.
Both the Chargers and the Dons are on the road this Friday night. Dos Pueblos travels to San Juan Hills while the Dons head to Oxnard to face Pacifica.
