Cate battled back from a 21-14 deficit and beat Mission Prep 26-24 in the quarterfinals of the Carpinteria girls volleyball tournament on Saturday.
The Rams finished as the third-place finisher after falling to Cabrillo in the semifinals.
In pool play, Cate split with Carpinteria and swept Azusa and the Carpinteria JVs.
Coach Greg Novak praised the play of Cydney Pierce, who was named to the all-tournament team, Peyton Shelbourn, Lydia McMahon and Xandrine Griffin.
