The Carpinteria doubles team of Erin Saito-Lesly Zapata did not drop a game, and the Warriors breezed to a 16-2 Tri-Valley League win over Santa Paula on Thursday.
“I thought our girls played well overall,” said coach Charles Bryant, whose team improved to 6-0 and 2-0 in league.
Natalie Saito-Gabi Montes De Oca dropped only one game and the duo of Emily Saito-Merissa Souza also picked up three wins.
In singles, Kelsie Bryant and Tess Pitzer both swept and Makenna Pike picked up the last point winning in a tie breaker.
Santa Paula was without its No. 1 singles player and she alone will make the rematch a little closer, said Bryant.
