Bishop Diego dropped its Tri-Valley League girls volleyball opener to St. Bonaventure on Thursday, 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.
“The Cards came out flat after their five-set match against Carpinteria,” assistant coach John Sener said. “We were off on every aspect tonight. The Seraphs showed up ready to play and we were a step slow on both offense and defense.”
Sener singled out the play of Emily Lash and Annelise Morando.
Bishop Diego is 3-3 overall and 0-1 in league.
