The Big West Conference released its preseason all-conference team for Men’s Soccer on Thursday, a list that includes three UCSB Gauchos.
UCSB senior Machael David
The team consists of nine position players and two goalies, and was voted on by the Big West coaches.
Forward Dion Acoff, midfielder Machael David, and defender Peter McGlynn represent Santa Barbara.
The three from UCSB are the most from any school. Cal State Northridge, UC Irvine and UC Riverside each placed two players on the team listed below.
Of the 11 preseason selections, UC Irvine defender Everett Pitts is the only returning Big West First-Team player from last year while UC Davis sophomore Matt Wiesenfarth was the Big West Freshman of the Year.
