Zach Wright and Davey Demeter blasted home runs in Tuesday’s 11-4 victory over Santa Paula, as Dos Pueblos Little League’s 11/12 All-Stars stayed alive in the District 63 Tournament, setting up a rematch with Goleta Valley South on Wednesday.
Goleta Valley edged Dos Pueblos 6-5 on Saturday in their first matchup. As a result, DPLL would have to defeat GVSLL twice to advance to the sectional tournament.
Wright and Demeter both finished with two hits each while Thomas Jimenez went 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs.
Ashton Borgeson was the winning pitcher for throwing two innings of scoreless relief.
