Dos Pueblos’ offense continued its tear in the District 63 12-under Little League All-Star Tournament on Sunday. The team blew out Fillmore 14-1 to complete pool play undefeated.
Dos Pueblos outscored its opponents 66-1 in four pool play games, which were all won by the mercy rule. The squad moves on to the double-elimination round and will face Santa Paula on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Girsh Park.
Will Goodwin homered and doubled in a 3-for-3 performance at the plate and drove in three runs. Nick Baker went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple and two RBI, and Justin Padilla drove in three runs with a pair of hits.
Dylan Kelley pitched a hitless three innings and Jake McBride and Ashton Borgeson finished out the game.
