Dylan Ledbetter hit a grand slam during a 10-run first inning as the Dos Pueblos Little League 9/10 All Stars cruised to a 16-5 victory over Goleta Valley South at Montalvo on Sunday.
The win keeps DP undefeated while also clinching the team a spot in the District 63 championship game Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Montalvo.
Goleta Valley, having suffered its first loss in the double-elimination tournament, plays again on Monday at 6 p.m.
DP pitcher J.J. Frausto scattered nine hits through five innings, limiting GV to four runs. Parker Ledbetter pitched the sixth inning, striking out the side after giving up one run.
DP pounded out 16 hits, including three hits each by Frausto, Dylan Ledbetter, Anthony Gutierrez and Trevor Craig.
DP has outscored its opponents 74-19 in its six tournament games.
