An 11-1 victory on Monday gave Dos Pueblos Little League’s 9/10 All-Stars the top-seed out of Group A with an unbeaten record.
Dos Pueblos will face Santa Paula in Montalvo on Saturday in the first game of the double-elimination tournament.
Dos Pueblos beat Foothill 11-1 on Monday. DP pitchers Parker Ledbetter and Jacob Koeper limited Foothill to two hits while striking out nine.
Anthony Gutierrez, Trevor Craig, Evan Stienberger and J.J. Frausto recorded two hits each in the game, including Frausto’s walk-off double in the fourth inning that induced the mercy-rule.
While going unbeaten in pool play, Dos Pueblos outscored its opponents 43-9.
