Howie Dougherty and Bill Cooper represented Santa Barbara’s Paragon Academy at the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas last weekend by competing in the Grapplers Quest tournament.
Dougherty, 14 years old, took 2nd place in the 13-15 Advanced Open Division No Gi Tournament and third place in the 13-15 Advanced Open Division Gi Tournament.
Cooper won his 4-Man Superfight tournament that was submission only.
The annual event is held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
