Luke Plucheck recorded three hits and Ryan O’Hearn drove in three runs in Tuesday’s 11-1 victory for the Santa Barbara Foresters over the California Wahoos at Caeser Uyesaka Stadium.
Plucheck, Richy Pedroza and Taylor Stell all had multiple-hits days.
Kirby Below was the winning pitcher for tossing five shutout innings. Below allowed four hits and a walk while striking out five.
The Wahoos managed six hits against Forester pitching in the game, three from Steven Orozco.
The Foresters never trailed, scoring single runs in the first and second innings. Three more runs in the bottom of the fourth knocked out Wahoos starting pitcher Phil Bickford.
The Wahoos scored their only run in the top of the eighth as Cole Holloway knocked in Jordan Morrison.
