Ian McCarthy was one of four Santa Barbara Forester pitchers that shut out the Southern California Halos 6-0 on Wednesday at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium.
McCarthy gave up two hits through the first five innings before handing the ball to Albert Minnis, Willie Kuhl and Hunter Lemke. The three relievers allowed two hits in four innings of work.
The Santa Barbara bats provided plenty of run support with six runs on seven hits.
Jacob Felts hit his second home run in as many days and finished 2-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI.
It was the third straight win for the Foresters, who go above .500 for the first time this season at 6-5.
The Halos and Foresters play again on Thursday at 5:10 p.m.
