Buena pitcher Isaac Horigan has been named the Channel League’s MVP following a league season in which the senior right-hander accounted for six of the Bulldogs’ seven league wins.
Horigan posted an ERA of 1.00 in eight appearances during league play. He totaled 49 innings and 54 strikeouts.
League champion Dos Pueblos, which won the league title with an 8-4 record, placed six players on the First Team. Seniors Luke Loggins, Joe Huthsing and Brett Patton were joined by juniors Nolan Soto, Dylan Rohde and Anthony Spiritosanto.
San Marcos senior Jimmy Brakka was a first-team selection for the Royals.
Santa Barbara had two players named to the second-team in Zach Torres and Connor McManigal.
