Luke Coffey collected three hits, including a home run, drove in three runs and scored three to power the Dos Pueblos Little League 13-14 All-Stars to a 12-2 romp over Montalvo in a District 63 tournament game on Saturday.
Dos Pueblos had 14 hits in a game that was shortened to five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.
Dustin Demeter also had three hits and three RBIs and scored three runs. Starting pitcher Gio Macias and Chris Noggle each had two hits as Dos Pueblos moved one win from reaching the tournament final.
Macias struck out three and allowed six hits in five innings.
Dos Pueblos is back in action on Saturday, July 7 against Ojai Valley at the GVSLL Field.
