Carpinteria’s Justin Nathanson and Ben Murray fell to Nordhoff’s Sam Cortez and Thomas Jeffares in the doubles championship for the Frontier League on Thursday.
Jeffares and Cortez took the title in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.
The third-place match in the doubles tournament was an all-Carpinteria event. Collin Nathanson and Jonathon Cleek battled Tim Goulart and Greg Norton, with Nathanson-Cleek prevailing 6-3, 6-4.
St. Bonaventure’s Michael Frank won the singles title.
