The San Marcos girls 4×400 meter relay team took seventh place at the CIF Division 3 Finals at Cerritos College.
The team consisted of Jill Fisher, Emily Allen, Annie Thwing and Kayling Koopmans. They completed the race in 4:01.21.
The group was ranked ninth heading into the race, and while the time does not qualify the Royals for the Masters meet, it was personal best by more than four seconds.
“It was really a great way to finish our season,” coach Marilyn Hantgin said.
