For the third consecutive year, Bishop Diego’s Nicole Poindexter won Frontier League titles in three events, this time in Thursday’s league championships at Fillmore High School.
Poindexter won the 100-meter sprint in 12.50 seconds and the 200-meter in 25.60. The senior also won the long jump with a leap of 17 feet, four inches.
Poindexter will compete next at the CIF Division 4 Prelims at Carpinteria High School.
