After rallying to complete an inspiring comeback win in its first playoff match, the Laguna Blanca boys volleyball team lost its second-round game to No. 2-seeded Chadwick in three sets.
The scores in Thursday’s game were 25-13, 25-11, 25-16.
In Tuesday’s first-round matchup, the Owls lost the first set but then came back to win the next three and advance.
Chadwick proved to be a difficult opponent, and Andrew McCaffery and Stephen McCaffery led the Owls offensively with six kills each.
Defensively, J.T. Aubery contributed a team-high nine digs.
This was the last match of the season for Laguna Blanca, which finished the regular season as the second-place team in the Condor League.
