Ricky Ho and Christian Ricketts were the winners of the 10k and 5k races this weekend for the 5th annual Gaucho Gallup that took place on UCSB’s campus during its Alumni Weekend.
At only 12 years of age, Rickett passed the 5k finish line with a time of 16:47. The preliminary results for the 10k put Ho at the finish line with a time of 34:38.

For the women, the first place finishers were Cindy Abrami for the 10k (4th overall) and a UCSB student, Nicole Sabes, for the 5k (5th overall).
The Dioji Doggie Dash race was won by Andrew Araza and his four-footed companion, while the Gaucho Challenge Team win went to The Horniest Toads with teamates Scott Devore and Jeff Bochsler.
Due to some runners being misdirected on the 10k course the results for that event remain preliminary and subject to protest through Tuesday, May 1.
