The Cate Scool boys volleyball team swept Besant Hill to earn a convincing victory on Wednesday.
The set scores were 25-19, 25-16 and 25-20.
The Rams were led by a balanced attack. Bowen Baker had eight kills, while Hershel Jordan finished with seven. Walker Ross and Spencer Whiteman were not far behind their teammates with six kills and five kills, respectively.
On defense, Michael Castaneda stepped up and recorded three of the team’s five blocks in the game.
The victory capped off a seven-game winning streak for the Rams, who ended the regular season with an 8-4 overall record.
