Santa Barbara High was nearly undefeated in doubles on Wednesday, recording a 14-4 Channel League win over Ventura in large part by winning 8-of-9 doubles sets.
The Dons’ Austin Trevillian and Jordan Rodnick teamed to take down three sets together. Jack Damen and Ryan Chung won two sets without a loss.
Logan Liddell and Morgan Hale won two sets each in singles before giving way to reserves in the final round of play.
The league-leading Dons are 6-0 in league and 9-1 overall. It was their third match in as many days with another scheduled for Thursday at home against San Marcos. To top it off, Santa Barbara will play its fifth match of the week on Saturday when they host Corona del Mar at the Tennis Club of Santa Barbara.
