Westmont’s baseball team played its way into next week’s conference tournament with a pair of wins on Saturday over Vanguard.
The Warriors edged Vanguard 10-9 in the first game and 8-2 in the second.

Mitch Crocker won both games on the mound to up his record to 6-3. Crocker pitched the final 2 1/3 innings of the first game before going on to turn in a complete-game performance in game 2.
Tim Leary hit his 16th home run of the season. It was part of a 14-hit attack that included three other home runs from the Warriors.
Westmont (22-25-1, 13-19) open up Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament play on Tuesday at Azusa Pacific.
