Both the boys and girls swim teams for Santa Barbara closed out their seasons with convincing victories over Ventura, and finish the regular season in second place in the Channel League, behind Dos Pueblos.
The boys won 103-80 and the girls took their meet 104-66.
Tarry Burkhardt had an excellent outing for the boys, winning the 50 yard freestyle, 100 yard breaststoke, and competiting on two victorious relay teams.
Cuyler Gabrield and Evan Roberston were both eveny winners as well, taking the 100 yard butterfly and the 100 yard freestyle, respectively.
For the girls, Kelsey O’Brien won the 50 and 100 yard freestyle races and Sophie Trabucco won the 200 and 500 yard freestyle races. Both swimmers were a part of of two victorious relay teams as well.
Madeline Trabucco won the 100 ayrd breaststroke and Hana Antrim won the 100 yard butterfly to round out the highlights.
Santa Barbara will compete in the Channel League Championships on Tuesday and Thursday of next week at Buena.
