Rams rally in final period

Cate and Thacher met for a key Condor League game on Saturday, with the Rams prevailing 15-13 on the Mesa.

Cate scored the game’s final four goals, having trailed 13-11 with 12 minutes remaining, to capture at least a share of the league title.

Alexis Hill’s six goals and eight draw controls were invaluable to Cate’s effort. Lisa Huang and Annie Weis scored three times each and Lanea Pearson added a pair.

Cate (9-1) needs a win at Dunn on Wednesday to take the league title outright.
