Santa Barbara High inched closer to an undisputed Channel League championship on Thursday after a 25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 25-20 victory over visiting Dos Pueblos.
The Dons are 7-0 with Ventura left on the schedule next Wednesday. On Tuesday, the team is headed to Angels Stadium to be recognized as a CIF Southern Section All-Academic Team.
Holden Ploch collected 14 kills while Nick Clark and Tristan Fauntleroy both had nine each. Ploch added three blocks.
It was senior night for the Dons, which affected 10 players on the team.
“It’s been rewarding that these guys have put in such hard work,” said Dons head coach Chad Arneson.
Gavin Trudeau tallied 48 assists.
