Casey Connelly ushered in his Spring Break with the best match of his career, as the defensive specialist used a team-high seven digs and near flawless passing to lead Bishop Diego over visiting Fillmore on Thursday. The Cardinals won the Tri-Valley League matchup in sweeping fashion, 25-14, 25-18, 25-15.
Chandler Swift also had a solid night in the back row to go along with an ace and two digs. Setter Brandon Gonzalez made some highlight-reel digs and dished out 20 assists with three aces.
