The Dos Pueblos boys swim team finished seventh out of 27 teams at the Mt. SAC invitational, despite bringing just five athletes to the meet.
Nic Lum took third place in the 200 yard freestyle (144.67) and sixth in the 500 yard freestyle (444.22). Both times were good enough to earn him automatic bids to CIF in those events.
Alex Valente took third in the 100 yard butterfly (52.29) and also posted a CIF automatic qualifying time. Blake Parrish accomplished the same feat with his fifth place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke (59.83).
Walker Bell’s times in the 200 yard IM (201.13) and the 500 yard freestyle (451.39) earned him CIF consideration and Ryan Montag took 13th in the 100 meter backstroke (58.40).
In the relays, Dos Pueblos took fourth in the 200 yard medley, sixth in the 200 yard freestyle and 10th in the 4×100 yard freestyle.
