Bishop Diego’s boys volleyball team topped Laguna Blanca on Thursday in a 25-23, 25-22, 26-24 non-league victory.
The Cardinals rallied from a 21-23 deficit in the final set to win on Ryan Inglehart’s sixth kill of the night.
Matt Hill led the Cardinals with eight kills and added six digs. Brandon Gonzalez dished out 22 assists.
“It was a good, competitive, cross-town match,” said Cardinals assistant coach Blake Dorfman.
Bishop Diego improves to 5-10 overall and will play in Saturday’s Viewpoint Tournament.
