Joey Biro, Alex Warner and Ian Craddock broke 100 for Carpinteria’s golf team on Thursday as the Warriors finished second out of three teams in their first competition of the spring season.
The Warriors scored a 500 as a team, second to Nordhoff’s 465. Hueneme came in third at 621.
Carpinteria returns five players from last year’s team and adds two newcomers to the game. Warner and Craddock matched each other’s 92 to share the team’s low round.
The three schools met at Soule Park in Ojai.
The Warriors have their home opener on Tuesday at Montecito Country Club.
