Due to impending weather, the UC Santa Barbara baseball team’s three-game series this coming weekend has been changed.
The Gauchos, due to face Rhode Island this weekend, will instead face the Rams on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. and then play a doubleheader on Friday with the first game set for 11:00 a.m. All three games will be played at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium on UCSB’s campus.
Heavy rain is in the forecast for the Santa Barbara area this weekend and a cross-country trip by the University of Rhode Island would make it impossible for the teams to be able to make up the games.
Fans who have tickets already for the weekend games will have their tickets honored on both Thursday and Friday. Tickets for the games are available by calling 893-UCSB or by clicking here.
