San Marcos edged Laguna Blanca 10-8 on Tuesday in a non-league match.
Petar Jivkov plowed through three set wins for the Royals in singles while Ramin Parrin and Jake Wheelock teamed to give the Royals three more in doubles. The two sweeps were important because San Marcos could only muster four more points from other positions.
Laguna’s Tristan Prinz, Alex Greer and Alex Louden won 2-of-3 sets each as the Owls held the edge in singles play.
