The golf teams from Santa Barbara High and San Marcos competed at Monday’s Oak Park Invitational, played at North Ranch County Club in Westlake Village.
Moorpark’s Thomas Lim and Drew Miller of Chaminade carded one-over 73s for the lwo rounds of the day. Miller’s Chaminade was in the hunt for the team title as well but the Eagles were edged by Mira Costa.
Jonathan Collins and Ryan Stoll led their threesomes with 77s for the Dons.
San Marcos’ Thayer White, Dylan Wright and Niels Anderson combined to shoot 240 and record the lowest round of any of the three local groups competing.
The Dons’ teams posted scores of 241 and 247.
