Blake Mackall swept three sets at love on Wednesday to lead Cate’s boys tennis team to a 11-7 non-league win over visiting San Luis Obispo.
Austin Lokre and Alex Erling also won three sets in singles for Cate as the Rams captured all nine singles points.
Two wins in doubles tilted the match in Cate’s favor. Abhay Singh and Brendan Lokre teamed to defeat the Tigers’ No. 1 doubles team for one of the Rams’ doubles points.
Cate (2-3, 1-0) returns to Condor League play on Friday against Dunn.
