After three losses to tough opponents, Dos Pueblos’ boys volleyball team won its first match of the season on Wednesday in a 25-12, 25-18, 25-19 sweep of Oxnard.
“It was nice to get in the win column,” said Chargers head coach Chris Hughes.
Cameron Fry recorded nine kills on 10 attempts with two blocks. Jackson Wopat collected seven kills and a pair of blocks.
The Chargers (1-3) will travel to San Diego this weekend for the Best of the West Tournament where they will face CIF Division 1 No. 1 Mira Costa on Friday.
