Dos Pueblos junior Rachel Smith has been named to the Southern Section’s Division 2 All-CIF First Team.

Smith carried the Chargers to a second-place finish in the Channel League, followed by a first-round CIF win in which Smith scored both of Dos Pueblos’ goals in a 2-1 victory over Royal.
Los Osos’ senior forward Ifeoma Onumonu was the division’s Most Valuable Player and her coach, Mychal Armstrong, was named Coach of the Year. Buena defender Amanda Tewes was a second player other than Smith to be named All-CIF from the Channel League.
