The No. 1 doubles team of Jake Roberts and Caleb Franzen nabbed the only set win of the day for Dos Pueblos in a 17-1 non-league loss to Calabasas, the No. 7-ranked team in CIF Division 1.
“Calabasas has a deep team of two to four-star recruits,” DP coach Liz Frech said. “We are proud of our players who went the distance today, and stayed fired up to the end.”
It was the first loss of the season for the Chargers, who had won their first three matches. Calabasas is 4-1
