Jonathan Collins and Spencer Mikles tied for Santa Barbara High’s low round on Wednesday, matching each other with even-par 70s at Birnam Wood.
The pair led the Dons to their best round of the year in a 370-531 decision with Buena. The Channel League win improves Santa Barbara to 13-1, 2-0.
Six Dons posted rounds of 79 or less.
“I am pleased with the consistency through the lineup, having everyone break 80,” said Dons head coach James Bedard. “This is a good round for us to go into spring break and get ready for a very difficult league schedule coming up.”
