A dominant second-half lifted Cate’s girls lacrosse team past Newbury Park on Friday afternoon as the Rams won 18-6 in the non-league matchup.
The Rams took a 7-5 lead into halftime but outscored Newbury Park 11-1 in the final two quarters.
Alexis Hill collected nine goals and won eight draw plays for Cate. Annie Weis also played a large role with four goals, two assists and six draw controls.
Emily Nguyen and Lisa Huang contributed a pair of goals each while Yansy Salmeron stopped six shots in goal.
Cate remains undefeated on the season with a 5-0 record. The Rams’ next game is Wednesday in a Condor League game against Thacher.
