Bishop Diego routed Santa Barbara and Orcutt Academy at the Santa Ynez Softball Tournament.
The Cardinals blanked the Dons 10-0 behind the pitching and hitting of Madison Ballard. She struck out six and went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
In the second game, Ballard went 2-2, drove in three runs and made two outstanding catches. Ava Denunzio pitched the victory.
Paige Sleep went 2-3 and Diana Sleep had a hit, drove in two runs and scored twice. Ali Everson contributed a double in the second game.
