The Bishop Diego boys tennis team was unable to get by Villanova at home, and dropped its second Tri-Valley League match 12-6.
In singles play, Nick Lensander had a strong performance and went 2-1 on the day.
The highlight in doubles play was the team of Andre Kohansamad and Johnny Ford who also went 2-1.
The Cardinals (0-3 overall, 0-2 TVL) will continue league play on Tuesday at Malibu.
