The Carpinteria High girls soccer took control early in its match at Santa Clara on Thursday and won 3-0.
The victory will set up a showdown with Grace Brethren that will likely decide the Frontier League champion.
Kylie Aurgerot started the scoring by heading in a Catherine Torres cross in the 14th minute.
The Warriors took a 1-0 lead into half, and Keslie Bryant scored in the 63rd minute to extend the league. Bryant started just her second game of the season, and has two goals in those starts.
Playing from behind, the Santa Clara team resorted to aggressive tactics to disrupt Carpinteria.
“They kept their poise,” Warriors head coach Lucy Carleton said about her players.
With just a few minutes remaining in the game, freshman Monica Garcia dribbled past the Santa Clara goalkeeper and tapped the ball into the net to seal the game.
Carpinteria (6-0-2 Frontier League) will have its Senior Night at home against Grace Brethren on Tuesday.
