The Carpinteria boys tennis team was unable to gain ground against Pacifica and lost 15-3.
One of the highlights of the day for was Ben Murray, who went 2-1 from the No. 3 singles spot.
“He played really well today and with a lot more patience,” head coach Charles Bryant said.
The doubles team of Greg Norton and Tim Goulart picked up Carpinteria’s third point.
“The boys showed a lot of heart and kept fighting all day,” Bryant said about his team.
The Warriors (0-3) wil play next on Friday at home against Hart.
