Cate’s boys basketball team was tripped up by Thacher on Saturday, falling 62-39 in a Condor League matchup
“We just did not show up today,” said Rams head coach Bryan Rodriguez.
Cate, now 5-3 in league play, picked up 10 points from Kyle Mayfield and John Basar.
“They hit the shots they needed to,” Rodriguez said of Thacher, the first place team.
Cate finishes it regular season with two games next week. Besant Hill is first on Wednesday and then Midland on Friday. Both games are at Cate.
