Cabrillo finished off an undefeated Los Padres League season with wins over Santa Ynez and Nipomo, and the Conquistadores look primed and ready to make a run for a CIF championship.
At 19-1-6, Derrick Wong’s squad is expected to be the top-seed in Division 5 when the pairings are announced on Monday. The Conquistadores finished No. 1 in the Santa Barbara County Super Seven rankings. Their lone loss came against CIF No. 6-ranked Downey in a tournament back in December.
Righetti finished No. 2 in the Super Seven rankings. The Warriors won the PAC-7 championship and finished the regular season with shutout wins over San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles.
Also winning a league title was No. 7-ranked Laguna Blanca. The Owls won the Condor League after starting the season at 0-5.

1) Cabrillo (19-1-6): beat Santa Ynez 3-1; beat Nipomo 3-1; Conquistadores won Los Padres League title with an 11-0-1 record.
2) Righetti (16-2-3): beat Atascadero 2-0; beat San Luis Obispo 2-0; beat Paso Robles 1-0. Warriors won PAC-7 title.
3) Dos Pueblos (14-3-6): beat Santa Barbara 3-1; tied Buena 1-1. Chargers finished second in the Channel League.
4) Santa Ynez (11-7-3): lost to Cabrillo 3-1; beat Templeton 2-1. Pirates rebounded from loss to Cabrillo and finish second in the Los Padres League.
5) Carpinteria (11-4-4): tied Grace Brethren 0-0; lost to Fillmore 1-0: Warriors missed a chance to win the Frontier League title and finished second behind Grace Brethren.
6) Bishop Diego (12-6-3): beat Santa Clara 4-0; tie Grace Brethren 0-0. Cardinals fell to fourth place in Frontier League, but they expect to get an at-large berth for the playoffs.
7) Laguna Blanca (9-5): beat Thacher 3-1; beat Dunn 3-0. Owls peaked at the right time of the year and won the Condor League title.
