Dos Pueblos can earn a share of the Channel League title this week at home
The third-ranked Chargers (5-1 in league) play a hungry Santa Barbara on Tuesday and host perennial champion Buena (6-0) on Thursday. They’ve twice lost one-goal games against the Bulldogs: 1-0 in a tournament a 2-1 in their first league meeting.
Buena, meanwhile faces a hot San Marcos team on Tuesday. The Royals have won two in a row.
In the Los Padres League, Cabrillo (9-0-1, 28 points) holds a four-point lead over Santa Ynez ( 7-0-3, 24) going into the final week. The two face off Tuesday at Santa Ynez. The Conquistadores host third-place Nipomo (7-3-1, 22 points) on Thursday. Santa Ynez finishes against Templeton.
Carpinteria faces a huge match against Grace Brethren for the Frontier League lead on Tuesday.
