Flash Mob at Friday’s Dons-Royals basketball game burning up YouTube
Between the third and fourth quarter, San Marcos’ student section took over Friday night’s Royals-Dons basketball game.
The Royals’ crowd pulled off a choreographed dance number between the third and fourth quarter that has caught fire on the web. A video of the ‘Flash Mob’ has been viewed over 8,000 times on YouTube.

Rincon Classic still waiting for the ‘Classic’ weekend
The 2012 Rincon Classic is again hoping for better conditions this coming weekend. The Classic has a waiting period of seven weekends and has opted out of the first three weekends so far.
Another call will be made mid-week.

Santa Barbara Soccer Club brings ‘Jay Demerit Story’ to town on Thursday
The Santa Barbara Soccer Club is hosting a screening of the Jay Demerit Story on Thursday at the Lobero Theatre. All the proceeds go to benefit SBSC’s player and community development.
Along with the film’s screening, UCSB head coach Tim Vom Steeg will participate in a Q&A sesssion with filmmaker Nick Lewis and several Gaucho players.
Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table hosts annual Women and Girls in Sports Luncheon
Hundreds of local female athletes attended Monday’s Women and Girls in Sports Luncheon to celebrate the legacy of Title-9 legislation. Former LPGA pro golfer Pearl Sinn-Bonanni spoke the crowd at Earl Warren Showgrounds.
