Providence Hall’s girls basketball dream season moves to Mater Dei High’s gym, where it will play top-seeded Orangewood Academy in the CIF-SS Division 6 championship game on Saturday.
The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., capping a day of six championship games.
The Lions (18-6) are in the final in only their second year of playing in CIF competition.
Orangewood Academy also is making its first final appearance. The Spartans (24-5) have been to the semifinals in three of the past four seasons.
