The Laguna Blanca boys soccer team traveled to the Ojai Valley School on Wednesday and won 3-0 behind two goals from Ryan Bickett.
The last time the two teams played, Ojai Valley defeated the Owls 5-0.
Senior sweeper Tanner Dalton set the tone defensively and made sure that this game would be different.
Just 14 minutes into the game, Bicket, a freshman, struck the ball into the back of the net to give Laguna Blanca the lead.
The Owls never looked back and Cuyler Zimmerman scored again just before half on an assist from Dalton.
Ten minutes after the break, Bickett netted his second of the day and ensured a victory for his team.
It was the last game for the Owls (2-9) who ended on a high note.
“We’re a young team and looking forward to next season,” head coach Travis Manach said. “It was a good way to finish the year.
